Product Manager, Concord NH

Established New Hampshire insurance carrier is seeking a Product Manager to pursue growth opportunities in the property and casualty insurance market. This position will have primary responsibility for profitability, competitive advantage, and product management. This role will require an extensive Personal Lines technical background to assist the Company in attracting the most profitable customers in our New England states.

Primary Responsibilities

• Develop a profit and growth strategy for a current auto and home book;
• Create a state management structure to proactively analyze, recommend and implement pricing, underwriting and marketing changes necessary to meet overall company profitability and growth objectives;
• Design and execute a profit and growth plan that includes strategy and measures needed to meet the plan;
• Serve as a project leader for handling broad issues and projects of strategic importance;
• Successfully coordinate process/product improvement initiatives through rigorous metrics management and project management;
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with the Systems, Actuarial, Sales, Claims and Regulatory Departments.

Job Requirements

• 7+ years insurance experience with good knowledge of Personal Lines state level tactics and strategy;
• Superior analytical skills;
• Ability to create, present and direct company strategic initiatives;
• Familiarity and understanding of pricing indication process;
• Excellent communication skills, especially analytical presentations;
• Prior product management experience with P & L responsibilities;
• BS/BA is required; MBA a plus;
• CPCU or other industry designations are a plus.
