Claims Adjuster-Property/Multi-Line, Bow NH

Responsible for the adjustment of assigned claims in accordance with procedures and rules such that the claims production and quality performance goals of the Claims Department and Company are achieved.

Responsibilities Include:

Ownership and accountability for the complete claims adjusting cycle in accordance with Business Unit and Company procedures for assigned claims including:

• Loss Reporting
• Initial Claim Handling
• Investigation and Damage Verification
• Evaluation - Setting and Recommending Reserves
• Negotiation and Settlement of Claims
• File Administration

Qualifications:

• 3 or more years experience in adjusting property/multi-line claims
• College degree preferred
• NH Property & Casualty adjusters license
• Ability to meet continuing education requirements for licensing purposes
• Proficient in PC windows environment
• Excellent understanding and skill level of claim handling and customer service
• Communication, interpersonal, negotiation and organizational skills
• Knowledge of policy contracts, insurance laws, regulations, the legal environment and procedures
