For the third year in a row, The Concord Group Insurance Companies has been recognized as a Healthy Workforce Designation recipient by Cigna Healthcare. The Healthy Workforce Designation is awarded to companies that demonstrate a strong commitment to improving the health and well-being of their employees through a workplace wellness program.

“We are excited to again receive the Healthy Workforce Designation from Cigna Healthcare! The Concord Group strives to continuously enhance our associate health and wellness program,” said Human Resources Administrator for The Concord Group, Chris Hynes.

“2024 was a significant year for our company’s wellness initiatives. We supported American Heart Month in February by providing a lunch & learn series focused on heart-health education, specifically cholesterol and hypertension. Our associates enjoyed other wellness events throughout the year as well, such as a four-week fitness challenge, a 5K walk-and-run road race, our highly popular cornhole league, and free healthy snack options throughout the year. Our corporate headquarters in Bedford, New Hampshire, provides associates with a great opportunity to go for a walk or get fresh air out on our patio. It’s great to see our associates take advantage of our programs and how they have become part of our company’s culture. We thank our associates who have participated in our wellness initiatives and to Cigna Healthcare for this honor,” noted Hynes.

The Cigna Healthy Workforce Designation evaluates organizations based on the core components of their well-being program, including leadership and culture, program foundations and execution, policies and accommodations, and additional areas. Organizations recognized with this designation set the standard of excellence for organizational health and vitality.
